Our team is reimagining the historic Kingsbridge Armory, a landmark structure in the Bronx, to be a vibrant, mixed-use development that reflects the surrounding community. Guided by the Together for Kingsbridge Vision Plan and supported by robust community engagement, the project transforms the long-vacant armory into a dynamic destination featuring a state-of-the-art venue space, sports fields, cultural and commercial spaces, and a light industrial manufacturing facility that prioritizes workforce development, and dedicated community space to further support Bronx residents.
In addition to the adaptive reuse of the armory itself, the development includes a new building with hundreds of units of permanently affordable housing, helping to meet urgent housing needs in the Bronx. Requiring significant land use approvals, this project represents a rare opportunity to reinvigorate a civic icon, garnering broad-based public support.
