Jung Oh Lee is a designer at FXCollaborative. Known for her ability to visualize concepts quickly, Jung Oh excels in using rendering and visual tools to enhance both the creative and technical aspects of her work. Jung Oh's love of both modern design tools and traditional notetaking adds a unique dimension to her design process.
Jung Oh sees architecture as an intersection of art, history, science, and anthropology. The love of this complexity led her to pursue a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute. There, she was able to develop her personal design philosophy: our designs should carefully consider impacts to the earth and society, as well as allow for programmatic flexibility for the future.
Throughout her career, Jung Oh has been involved in a variety of projects, including a mixed-use development in South Korea and a housing master plan in North Dakota. Jung Oh's approach is driven by a passion for sustainable design and innovative building techniques including mass timber, 3D printing, and modular construction. She has lived in South Korea and various cities in the United States, enriching her design perspective and contributing to her dynamic approach.
