Design is about understanding how the user moves within the space and then improving upon that.
Justyna is a designer within our Interiors studio where she focuses on workplace and educational institutions. She approaches design by understanding how the user interfaces with their space, asking the question of how the concept will improve their daily lives. While working through the selection of interior finishes and materials, she focuses on how they reflect her client's brand and culture. Combining these within the parameters of building constraints is one of the challenges Justyna embraces, knowing that they lead to innovation.

Growing up in Poland with a family in the surveying business, Justyna gained tremendous knowledge of the technical aspects of building design. At 16, she became a fashion model which allowed her to travel the world, observing how different cultures and materials influenced the spaces around her. Falling in love with New York City, she decided to stay and study at the Fashion Institute of Technology where the Interior Design program truly married her technical interests with her love of drawing.

Since joining the firm in 2012, Justyna focuses on building relationships throughout all phases of the design process, and brings talent, great collaboration skills, material, and furniture knowledge to the team.
