FXCollaborative Announces Four Promotions
FXCollaborative has promoted Justyna Mrowiec-Chun and Jena Rimkus to Senior Associate and Conner Thackara and Melanie Yaris to Associate.

Jena Rimkus is a registered architect with experience across all phases of the architectural process from design through construction administration. Focusing on projects that have wide influence—such as multi-family residential, educational institutions, and urban projects that impact diverse populations—Jena appreciates the ability to make a positive difference through architecture. She enjoys the balance of the artistic and the technical, and the unique puzzles that each new project brings.
Justyna Mrowiec-Chun is a designer within our Interiors studio where she focuses on workplace and educational institutions. She approaches design by understanding how the user interfaces with their space, asking the question of how the concept will improve their daily lives. While working through the selection of interior finishes and materials, she focuses on how they reflect her client's brand and culture. Combining these within the parameters of building constraints is one of the challenges Justyna embraces, knowing that they lead to innovation.
Conner Thackara designs a range of projects at FXCollaborative, and has particular expertise in architectural visualization. He has extensive experience working on projects that utilize innovative construction technologies and approaches to adaptive reuse. Conner's diverse portfolio spans a variety of scales and typologies, from small-scale residential to complex master plans.
Melanie Yaris is FXCollaborative's Marketing and Communications Manager. She guides the firm's internal and external communications efforts and leads marketing pursuits. Her communications work is centered around amplifying FXCollaborative's projects, initiatives, and firmwide brand through avenues such as design award submissions, thought leadership pieces, press, industry events, and social media. Melanie also produces architecture 5 10 20, a podcast hosted by Managing Partner Guy Geier that explores the future of the built environment.
