We have a social responsibility to advocate for more fairness and equality in how people experience and access space.
As an architect, Stefan works through all phases of design and construction for our residential projects. His process begins with in-depth research on the site, and its zoning and building code requirements. From there he works with the senior design team to understand the client's goals and program parameters in order to generate design drawings and models. He views himself as someone who constantly seeks to understand why design decisions are made and how they emphasize the overall project concept.

Born in Australia, Stefan's family emigrated to the US when he was five. They moved quite a bit the first few years, exposing him to many different parts of the country, eventually settling in New Hampshire. When he was 13, he helped his father build their home, giving him his first experience in understanding how things fit together. He stayed in New Hampshire to pursue his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Keene State College where the program was really focused on building science, then went on to receive a Master of Architecture from University of Michigan which was much more theoretical, exposing him to new ways of thinking.

Stefan's interest in architecture ties to his interest in people, especially their engagement with a space—how it feels to them, what they use it for, and how they interact with it. He thinks there is great value in working with the general public to raise awareness of the profession, and develop ways in which we can work together to create more fairness, equality, and accessibility within the built environment.
