Christos Constantinou

AIA, LEED AP
Associate

Good design is subtle. Its creating layers of complexities that are not obvious right away and evoke new feelings as they are discovered.
Christos is a Job Captain with experience on residential and mixed-use projects of various scales throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. As the BIM manager for his team, he spends his time producing drawing sets and revit models. His high technical skill makes him frequently sought out by others in the firm to create 3D models from their sketches.

As a child, Christos was always interested in art, math, and science and knew deep down that he would feel most fulfilled in a creative career. Growing up in Upstate New York, he visited New York City often and was mesmerized by the scale of it. Setting a goal to eventually live and design in the city, he chose to study at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he received a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Civil Engineering, and then a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University.

His process is very pragmatic in approach, asking: What's the most efficient functional layout that fits all the programmatic requirements? His designs are minimal in appearance, yet layered with complexity, focusing on the way certain volumes overlap or intersect to create different spatial moments.
