Shannon Rodriguez

LEED GA
Chief Operations Officer

To build good buildings, we need to develop a vibrant, supportive, creative community within the firm.
Seeing buildings come to life energizes Shannon in her firm-wide role of guiding and managing all Human Resource procedures and policies. Complementing her responsibilities of recruiting and staffing, internships, and employee relations with a focus on diversity and inclusion, is her strong connection to every person in the office—Shannon is one of the “go-to” persons on staff for direction, guidance, and mentorship. In 2025, Shannon assumed the position of Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for the financial, human resources, administrative, legal, and technological health and well-being of the firm.

Even before she began working here, Shannon was drawn to the firm. As an administrative assistant for an owner's representative she appreciated our architects’ passion for beautiful spaces. Seeing up close how the many design and technical components come together to create a viable, vital office building, school, or museum continues to inspire Shannon in her work.

As a member of the AIA Large Firm Round Table, Shannon takes part in cross-industry dialogue about the future of architecture, delving into the nuts and bolts of benefits as well as affirmative action and recruiting. Shannon has been instrumental in developing outreach efforts and an internal mentoring program at that fosters and strengthens our community of vibrant and diverse voices.
