Calling All Artists Who Identify as LGBTQ

FXCollaborative
FXOne, our LGBTQ and allies group, is looking for queer art.

FXCollaborative has a long standing tradition of exhibiting the work of emerging and established artists in our gallery for over 40 years. For NYC Pride 2018, FXOne hosted pronouns, a multi-media exhibition that celebrated differences–whether gender identity or experience. For this year's exhibition, we are continuing the LGBTQ dialogue and searching for diverse perspectives to celebrate WorldPride, the largest Pride celebration in the world, spanning the entire month of June in New York City.

FXOne is looking for work by artists in any media that represents pride and/or identity. Submissions are due no later than Sunday, March 31. Email FXOne@fxcollaborative.com for more detailed information and instructions.

The exhibition will take place June 3 through August 2 in the FXGallery, with an opening reception on Thursday, June 6 (all dates are subject change).

We hope you consider sharing your work with us.

FXOne was created as a forum to recognize and raise awareness of LGBTQ issues within the architecture and design industry. The group also provides outreach opportunities for the firm to volunteer with LGBTQ organizations in the city.

FXCollaborative is one of the founding members of Build Out, a non-profit alliance that advocates for inclusion of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community within the building design and construction industries in New York City.
