Hitakshi Agrawal, an urban designer at FXCollaborative, brings a unique perspective to her role, blending her architectural expertise with urban planning insights. Exposed to the zoning code for various cities as an intern led Hitakshi to further explore the intersection between the two disciplines. Her experience includes feasibility studies, massing analyses, and zoning research for multiple sites throughout New York City.
Growing up in Mumbai, a city where public spaces and transit play a vital role in daily life, Hitakshi experienced firsthand the transformative power of well-planned urban environments. Her upbringing instilled in her a passion for designing spaces that enhance people's daily lives through clean, safe, and engaging public spaces and efficient public transit systems. Her design philosophy centers on creating inclusive and holistic spaces that cater to both people and the environment.
With a Bachelor of Architecture from Mumbai University and Master of Science in Architecture, Urban, and Regional Design from New York Institute of Technology, Hitakshi leverages her abilities to think beyond site, environmental, and zoning constraints to generate innovative solutions.
