Minghan, or Tom, is a junior architectural designer at FXCollaborative who is interested in the social impact of architecture and the integration of nature into the environment. He is skilled at producing communicative drawings to trigger new possibilities from concept to construction.
Tom's interest in architecture was inspired by an early love of traditional Chinese paintings which provoke emotion through bold moves and beautiful composition. Architecture allows him to explore these artistic qualities while still enjoying more pragmatic challenges like programming and detailing. Tom received his Bachelor of Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture before receiving his Master of Architecture from Columbia University.
His professional experience includes work in hospitality, mixed-use development, and retail projects. Tom uses his skill for visual representation to work with his team and clients to find innovative solutions to each new challenge.
