Jessica is a designer with an adaptable personality, open to tackling design and details, initial research, and larger urban-scale issues. Task-oriented, she enjoys the collaborative and iterative process, and figuring out how each project fits into the context of a larger conversation—of the city and the environment.
Having grown up in New York City, Jessica's earliest memories of architecture are from walks around the city and being amazed by the variety present in the built environment. After proclaiming architecture to be her goal at the age of seven, Jessica furthered her interests in STEM fields, art, and creativity by earning a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University.
In addition to Jessica's role as an architectural designer, she has a deep interest in environmental justice, especially as it pertains to the impact of flooding and urban infrastructure on areas such as Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. She is a strong believer that sustainability and environmental concerns need to be addressed in each project, and it is imperative that architects and designers be invested in the communities they design for.
