Congratulations to Jodie Quinter, Associate, for running the New York City Marathon in support of Covenant House New York and their exceptional mission! Jodie raised an outstanding $11,275 for this inspiring organization and client that uplifts young people experiencing homelessness through compassion and respect.

Jodie reflected on her experience, "In many ways having Covenant House as a client woke me up; I'm awake to a societal fracture that I can't look away from now and I don't take that for granted, so I stay involved. Raising money and running for this organization gave the marathon deep personal meaning. Race day was the reward. The real lift was the discipline it took to stick to the training, running on your own week in and week out. Any time I felt an ounce of uncertainty or languish, I reminded myself that few possess the mental stamina and grit required to withstand the dealings that Covenant House youth experience every single day. And, if they can do that, the least I can do is keep placing each foot forward in support of them."
