Ann Charleston, AIA, LEED AP BD+C is an architect at FXCollaborative focusing on sustainable design, residential, mixed-use, and transportation typologies. Her approach to design leverages interdisciplinary thinking, connections, and technology to communicate complex ideas. Ann additionally serves as a Studio Sustainability Leader, advocating for sustainable decision-making across projects and phases. Ann is most interested in how complex projects can better connect people, design, and the environment. She thinks at the scale of both the city and the detail, believing that the best approach to design is through an inspired, iterative process.
Elizabeth Himmel, LEED GA is an architectural designer who works with an array of educational and not-for-profit clients at all phases of project development, from campus planning through construction. Lizzie is passionate about breathing new life into older buildings and can often be found pouring over century-old drawings and exploring long-forgotten corners of existing structures. Her love of historic buildings and her commitment to sustainable design have intersected in her work on some of the firm's most ambitious energy retrofit projects, navigating the complex web of physical constraints and regulatory standards that make every project unique. At every scale, Lizzie focuses on designing for community and resilience—crafting beautiful, functional, and memorable spaces that prioritize the health and well-being of future generations.
Jodie Quinter, AIA is an architect and project manager with over seven years of experience specializing in higher education and hospitality typologies including new construction, adaptive reuse, and historic preservation projects. Jodie designs with a sense of the end user and facilitates project delivery from document production to the direction of project schedules. She places a high priority on fostering productive, positive relationships between the client, users, design team, and consultants, and aims to get everyone across the finish line together with an admirable finished product.
Emau Vega, LEED AP BD+C is an architectural designer, providing early-stage concept and design for high-rise residential and commercial buildings. He works with clients and his internal teams to interpret ideas and translate them into the digital realm, bringing his own insights. With a strong emphasis on collaboration, he often asks questions and looks at things from multiple angles, seeking to understand the constraints and why design decisions are made, to provide cohesive design solutions that are sensible and innovative.
