Women Build 2020: NYC Women's March
On a chilly Saturday morning, FXCollaborative joined the Women's March Alliance for the 2020 Women's March on NYC. Under the theme of "Women Build," FXCollaborative firm leadership, staff, and members of Women of FXCollaborative (FXWomen) marched alongside colleagues from Dattner, Thornton Tomasetti, HLZA, Marvel Architects, and Beyer Blinder Belle to raise awareness of the many roles of women in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
In addition to highlighting the many contributions women bring to the AEC industry and opportunities for young women to join the industry, our participation was a call to action in support of equality, drawing attention to issues such as pay equity.
Women of FXCollaborative (FXWomen) supports professional growth and leadership development for women. FXWomen seeks to promote the voices and perspectives of women within the firm by encouraging an inclusive environment, organizing skill development workshops/training and professional growth–oriented events, and sustaining a healthy work/life balance.
