Marching in Celebration of Pride

FXCollaborative
New York City had the honor to host the first WorldPride in the United States, and FXCollaborative is proud to have marched once again in the NYC Pride March, one of the biggest events in LGBTQIA+ Pride history. With Build Out Alliance, we marched alongside thousands of other organizations and groups to celebrate Pride and commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising.

On Sunday, June 30, 2019, supporters and participants took to the streets of New York for the procession. With over 150 international groups and approximately 650 local organizations in attendance, FXCollaborative's LGBTQ+ and Allies group FXOne marched as part of Build Out Alliance, a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that promotes and advocates for the LGBTQ+ community within the building design and construction industries.

50 years after the Stonewall Uprising, we continue to celebrate, resist, and spread awareness for the LGBTQIA+ community. Join us in our continuing efforts to ensure that our future and our communities are colorful and inclusive for everyone.

FXOne, our LGBTQ+ and Allies group, was created as FXCollaborative's forum to recognize and raise awareness of LGBTQ issues within the architecture and design industry. The group also provides outreach opportunities for the firm to volunteer with LGBTQ organizations in the city.
