Our LGBTQ+ Group Marches in NYC Pride
FXOne, our LGBTQ+ and Allies group, marched in this year's NYC Pride as part of Build Out Alliance, a nonprofit organization that we co-founded which promotes and advocates for inclusion of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) community within the AEC industry.
In celebration of this year's Pride theme "Defiantly Different," we joined more than 48,000 marchers, 350 groups, and 100 colorful floats on a parade route that passed by the historic Stonewall Inn, the NYC AIDS Memorial, and one of our residential projects–The Greenwich Lane in Greenwich Village.
Earlier this year, FXOne and Build Out Alliance participated in AIDS Walk New York, raising over $5,300 to combat HIV and AIDS.
Build Out Alliance is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which promotes and advocates for inclusion of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) community within the building design and construction industries.
