In downtown Montreal, a new regional headquarters for a large multinational corporation had to provide a sustainable and attractive way of adapting to the extreme winter climate. Efficient under-floor air distribution and automated shades mitigate daylight to help keep offices warm during the winter. A spacious ground-floor lobby and atrium offer further refuge for a chilly public and a direct connection to the city's underground promenade and metro.
