An ambitious charter school in the Bronx needed a flexible, healthy, and inspiring new space to support its purpose: "A whole child approach that delivers meaningful results."
Outgrowing its current facilities, which it was sharing with another school, the Children's Aid College Prep Charter School determined it needed a new space that could accommodate a whole-child approach to learning. The result was an entirely new school from the ground-up—one that offers rigorous academics, fosters a sense of pride, and provides a safe, engaging community hub.

The new, six-story building includes three classrooms for each of the seven grade levels with a wide variety of specialized classrooms and labs. Floor plans emphasize open spaces over narrow hallways. Custom acoustic materials absorb noise from nearby elevated trains, providing a calmer learning environment. A library, health suite, modern media center and rooftop play area make this new community resource uniquely outfitted to serve students from "cradle to college."
