Sam is a designer at FXCollaborative with experience in complex, large-scale transit projects. Participating in design competitions through her education and career, Sam has been able to strengthen her skills by responding to difficult problems in clear and concise ways. A strong storyteller, Sam thoroughly enjoys the process of storyboarding and telling a story with carefully considered diagrams, drawings, and images.
A trip to Brasilia sparked Sam's interest in architecture—she was fascinated by South American modernism and the work of Oscar Niemeyer. Upon her return, she promptly applied to architecture school, where she focused on community driven design.
