Public Square in BSA/AIA's "Balancing Act"
What will we do with today's parking spaces as we begin to rely more on newer modes of transportation?
FXCollaborative's Public Square is on display in "Balancing Act: Urbanism & Emerging Technologies" at the Boston Society of Architects/AIA's BSA Space. The exhibit traveled to Boston following a successful exhibition in "The Road Ahead" at the Cooper Hewitt, and will remain on view at the BSA Space until Friday, September 27, 2019.
The exhibition explores the idea of balance by posing a series of questions about how we can focus emerging technologies toward the human experience and develop best urban practices to make our cities more livable, equitable, and sustainable. "Balancing Act" features Public Square, our award-winning vision for how cities can adapt to autonomous vehicles with a modular, incremental system.
Public Square was produced in collaboration with Sam Schwartz Engineering.
