Beverly Willis–Woman of Action

FXCollaborative
We ended a month-long series of events and programs to commemorate Women's History Month with "A Conversation with Beverly Willis–Woman of Action." Ms. Willis is an architect known for pioneering new technologies in architecture and her role in advancing the fields of urban planning and public policy. True to the program's title, she spoke on all aspects of blazing her own trail in the AEC industry, and making her mark as an architect and a figurehead for the changing face of the profession. Neither Ms. Willis nor our audience shied away from the issues of inequality and sexual harassment plaguing the workplace. The honest and candid discussion made for an inspiring and action-charged evening.

Special thanks to our colleagues who joined us for the program: Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation (BWAF), Langan Engineering, Cannon Design, Cerami & Associates, Inc., BuroHappold Engineering, ZGF Architects, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, Perkins Eastman, Lutron Electronics, Dattner Architects and Vidaris.

This program was presented by Women of FXCollaborative (FXWomen) whose mission is to support professional growth and leadership development for women.
