Street level office, retail, hospitality, and transportation infrastructure helped transform Times Square from a seedy neighborhood into a world-class destination.
We played a pivotal role in transitioning Times Square from its seedy past to its status as the "Crossroads of the World," an entertainment and retail destination for New York City. The multi-phased project began with the revitalization of ground floor tenant spaces, followed by the construction of new storefronts in existing buildings and the construction of two new buildings, including the Times Square Brewery and the new main entrance to the subway station. The final portion of the project required the replacement of all sidewalk paving within a four block area. The retail upgrades and streetscape improvements created a more attractive and inviting environment for pedestrians.
