The Green Line Station is one of five new stations that are part of a 6.8-mile-long extension of the Dubai Metro Green Line, which extends from Al Jadaf to International City. The station is designed as a side platform intermodal complex to accommodate a five-car train with a fully-enclosed link to adjacent retail, bus facility, and ferry terminal. The Green Line Station incorporates several energy saving measures that define its identity, including a high-performance skin lit with LEDs that change color as trains move through the station and day-lit platforms with shading devices to mitigate solar heat gain.
