FXCollaborative designed a 36-story mixed–use tower in the heart of Osaka, Japan, consisting of 750,000 square feet of office space, a concert hall and below-grade parking for 225 vehicles. The design incorporates sustainable features including bicycle storage, natural ventilation and humidity control, and maximized daylighting. A rooftop garden, which is planted with natural species that do not require irrigation, features a rainwater collection system to reduce potable water use throughout the building.
