In designing a renovation and addition for the American Bible Society, FXCollaborative was tasked to create a fresh new presence for both the building's interior and façade. FXCollaborative designed an all-glass pavilion that projects from and complements the original 1960s modern classic headquarters on Broadway. A multi-screen video system and etched inscriptions on the glass façade convey the society's message to the public. The transparency and lightness of the pavilion allow passersby glimpses of interior spaces, including the renovated bookstore, offices, and a new second-floor gallery.
