The Oculus

The Oculus, a new 10-story infill condominium building located on a residential side street in Chelsea, offers four exclusive penthouses and 21 residences featuring private outdoor space. Its textured façade lends vibrancy and lightness to the streetscape and contrasts the traditional masonry buildings deeply rooted within their lots. Terracotta bands form a floating veil over an aluminum window wall, which adds depth and maximizes daylight. The undulating expression of the wall corresponds to the internal organization of the studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units.
