Two administrative suites on two floors add flexible, collaborative workstations and offices as well as formal and informal gathering spaces.
Seeking to streamline operations with new, flexible office space, this healthcare company engaged FXCollaborative to design two administrative suites on separate floors of a Midtown Manhattan office building. The new space creates flexible, collaborative and fully appointed work spaces including reception, meeting rooms, open and closed offices, breakout spaces, and kitchen and pantry spaces. Circulation routes are set to encircle both the building's core and perimeter, and are activated with informal seating areas. Collaboration spaces of varying size and purpose are set at key corners of the office's primary circulation paths, and also aid in wayfinding, with their distinct designs orienting employees and visitors. Fixtures and furnishings were selected and composed to provide customizable modules for open workstations, closed offices, and individual and group meeting spaces.
