Shifting the reception desk from the back of the lobby to the front creates a more functional and welcoming experience for tenants and visitors.
A dark, outdated midtown lobby needed better light and flow—but the entrance posed a challenge. Our interior renovation to the entrance and lobbies of the late 1980's office building gives the spaces a new and fresh look. Features include updated lighting, new surface treatments, custom back lit glass feature walls, and a site specific art installation. An origami-shaped ceiling dome illuminates the entrance lobby, warming the space with diffuse light while referencing the original marble pattern below. A new illuminated glass entry portal provides a welcoming beacon from the street.
