The dramatic overhaul of the ferry terminal and rail yard reflects its true purpose—to serve as a gateway to the city, for many people, and all of New Jersey.
Our massive redevelopment plan, to be phased over 15-25 years, restores the historic terminal to its former glory, while adding 9.2 million square feet of new space. Extensive conversations with the local community helped form the final plan: reduce traffic congestion, forge better waterfront connections, create massive new green spaces and bike paths, revive a retail corridor along Warrington Plaza, and improve drainage for storm runoff.
