Located in the Clinton Special District on Manhattan's west side, this new luxury development includes 95 residential units as well as retail and office space. Wrapping the corner of West 54th Street and Tenth Avenue along 53rd Street, the development is composed of two building volumes connected at the ground and cellar levels. To make the two building volumes read as one from the street, a clear and pronounced architectural vocabulary was necessary. Alternating façade expressions of rustic brick and crisp metal panels used in a repetitive manner create a unique character, while drawing inspiration from the architectural styles of the Clinton neighborhood. The development embraces a bi-level landscaped courtyard and terrace space. Inspired by Italian piazzas and urban gardens, the courtyard is visible from the lobby, inviting the residents inside to their private oases.
