Rising from the commercial intensity of Hudson Yards, the project seizes the opportunity for inclusive city-making.
A bold addition to Hudson Yards, 495 Eleventh prioritizes inclusion, proving that high-density growth can serve everyone. To deliver what will become the tallest 100% affordable housing tower in the world, the project embraces multifaceted mixed-use development, integrating three hotel brands, affordable and supportive housing (single-room occupancy, transitional housing with social services), a grocery store, NYPD parking, and a range of services and amenities.

The two towers embody the concept of "dancing buildings" that are complementary yet distinct. They gracefully shear against one another, producing a dynamic interplay of form while minimizing direct views to enhance privacy and a sense of openness. At the ground plane, the neighborhood's commercial vibrancy is balanced with a textured and detailed podium that is residential in scale. The entrances to the hotels, grocery store, and affordable housing tower, along with adjacent public space improvements, are crafted to engage pedestrians and enliven the streetscape.
