Andrew is a designer who specializes in highly technical building façade design and architectural visualization, with specific experience in midcentury modern recladding projects. He has extensive experience working on projects that utilize innovative design and construction technologies and approaches. Andrew's diverse portfolio spans a variety of scales and typologies, from small-scale residential buildings to high rise commercial offices, higher education facilities, and transportation.
Exploring the productive tension in the reciprocity between ideas and matter, Andrew is invested in establishing a critical relationship between the resulting effects of the building's assemblage and the conceptual intent of the project. A licensed architect both in New York and Madrid, Spain, Andrew's international experience includes the renovation and adaptive reuse of an old historic villa into a contemporary flagship retail space in the heart of Madrid's exclusive shopping area.
As an adjunct professor at the Hillier College of Architecture and Design at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in Newark, Andrew has coupled his professional practice with leading both graduate and undergraduate studios that focused on housing and civic/public architecture.
