FXCollaborative Announces Six Promotions
FXCollaborative has promoted Justyna Mrowiec-Chun to Interior Design Practice Leader; Chelsea Crisafulli, Eric Laine, and Hobum Moon to Senior Associate; and Pegah Jalaly and Elva Ye to Associate.

As Interior Design Practice Leader, Justyna Mrowiec-Chun guides a team of designers specializing in dynamic, innovative spaces across a wide range of sectors. Her design approach begins with a deep understanding of how users interact with their environments and how spatial programming influences those interactions. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for functional aesthetics, Justyna is dedicated to transforming environments in ways that enhance user experience and reflect each client's unique brand identity. She embraces the challenge of navigating building constraints, recognizing that limitations often lead to the most creative solutions.
Chelsea Crisafulli's background in design-build and fabrication means that she is always thinking about execution—How to successfully translate a design idea? How will it be beautifully detailed and constructed? She thrives on constraints as a way to formulate her design approach, and values the multidisciplinary nature of our workplace as a way to broaden our design thinking. As an architect with experience on a wide range of project typologies, Chelsea brings her passion and expertise to all phases from design through construction.
Eric Laine is an architect with experience ranging from higher education and healthcare to large-scale residential and mixed-use master planning. In his role with FXCollaborative, he works with project teams through all phases of a job, from early conceptual sketches to construction documentation, and ultimately through the final realization of its design.
Hobum Moon is a planner and urban designer with a background in architecture and landscape architecture. Focusing on site planning and massing studies for a variety of urban projects, his work goes beyond the scale of the building to consider larger systems such as streetscapes, transportation, infrastructure, the neighborhood context, and social initiatives.
Pegah Jalaly is an architect at FXCollaborative with more than 10 years of international work experience in a variety of project types and scales, from interior and architectural design to master planning and urban design. Her favorite aspect of the design process is problem-solving. With her dedication and management skills, Pegah has a proven track record of success as a designer. She has delivered quality design projects that meet the highest standards and requirements for stakeholder satisfaction.
Elva Ye is an interior architectural designer with a specialty in residential interiors and experience with cultural and workplace projects. She is fascinated by modernist design and strives to create projects that are rooted in their social contexts. Elva brings exceptionally strong organizational skills to every project. She is experienced with all project phases and is particularly drawn to concept design and construction documents.
