Calling Trans and Non-Binary Artists of All Ages
FXCollaborative has a long running tradition of exhibiting the work of emerging and established artists in the firm's gallery, now located in Downtown Brooklyn. We are excited to announce that for Pride 2025 we will be holding an exhibition featuring an extensive collection of work that amplifies the voices of Trans and Non-Binary people, of all ages, and celebrates a wide range of experiences, identities and perspectives. At a time where Trans and Non-Binary communities face increased discrimination, erasure, and legislative attacks, this exhibit stands as a space of visibility, resilience and creative expression.
We are looking for work by Trans and Non-Binary artists of all ages in any medium, that reflects the depth and beauty of Trans and Non-Binary lives and experiences. Join us in creating a powerful showcase of collective multi-generational voices that inspires a future where all Trans and Non-Binary people are seen, heard and celebrated.
Send us links to your website/artwork/portfolios to FXOne@fxcollaborative.com to be considered for the exhibition and please advise how many works you will be submitting. We have capacity for each artist to submit 1 to 5 works. Don't forget to include a brief bio and contact information. All artwork should be ready to be hung or displayed. The gallery will provide hardware for all hanging works and, if needed, we can work with artists to determine how to best showcase their pieces. The gallery has a hanging system that utilizes cables and rods with various clips and hooks. Additional cable fittings can be ordered as necessary.

• Link to your website (optional)
DEADLINE EXTENDED TO FRIDAY, MAY 2ND
Submissions are due no later than Monday, April 28th. All artists will be notified the week of May 5th regarding selections.
The exhibition will run from May 29th through June 30th, and an opening reception will take place on Thursday, May 29th (All dates are subject change). All selected artists will have the opportunity to invite esteemed guests, close friends and family to celebrate your work and the gallery opening.
If selected, it is the responsibility and an expense to the artist for delivery and pick-up of your artwork to FXCollaborative. The firm covers the costs for an opening reception (date to be determined), insurance while the work is on premise, and most incidentals related to installation/deinstallation. FXOne promotes the exhibition through social media, press, and the firm's website. FXOne will also create an invite that the artists will be able to use and post to their own network.

FXCollaborative's LGBTQ+ and Allies group, FXOne, was created as a forum to recognize and raise awareness of LGBTQ+ issues within the architecture and design industry. The group also provides outreach opportunities for the firm to volunteer with LGBTQ+ organizations in the city.
FXCollaborative is one of the founding members of Build Out Alliance, a non-profit organization that advocates for inclusion of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) community within the building design and construction industries in New York City.
