Covenant House Wins AIA New York State Best of the Best Award

We are incredibly honored that Covenant House New York was named the "Best of the Best" project at the AIA New York State 2022 Design Awards ceremony!
From the jury: "Each year the jury selects one project they believe stands out from the others. As you just saw, these projects are diverse and impactful. To have one stand out above the rest is astonishing. This year's Best of the Best in New York State goes to Covenant House New York, submitted by FXCollaborative. The jury felt that Covenant House New York operates at an extremely high level, providing much-needed housing for unhoused youth in a well-detailed and well-proportioned building, while also contributing to the urban fabric in a meaningful way. The building's human-scale massing and highly tactile materiality create a marked contrast to the shiny glass towers of its Hudson Yards neighbors. The social services are supported, accentuated, and elevated by the design, with its emphasis on natural light and art."
