The Statue of Liberty Museum has been recognized for its sustainable architectural design with a 2021 Green GOOD DESIGN Award from the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. Congratulations to the entire project team!
The Green GOOD DESIGN Awards program focuses on the most important new international projects that are leading the global way to design that is sustainable and compatible with the highest standards of good environment. For 2021, hundreds of product designs, graphics, architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning projects, together with visionary leaders from 28 nations, were awarded with the Green GOOD DESIGN trademark.

The Green GOOD DESIGN Show 2021, on view at the European Centre / Contemporary Space Athens in Athens, Greece, from May 14 through June 15, features the best of Green GOOD DESIGN Awards' products, buildings, graphics, governmental projects, designers, and manufacturers whose works have been awarded not only for their excellence but most of all for their sustainable, innovative designs.
