We attended the topping out ceremony for our new mixed-use development The NOMA, which overlooks 34th Street and Herald Square in Manhattan's NoMad neighborhood. The tower is comprised of two floors of retail at its base, 55 residential units with sweeping city views, and a fifth floor that includes a landscaped amenity terrace, library, lounge, and fitness area.
The NOMA's banded, brick-and-window façade is a modern take on the streamlined aesthetics of the 1930s—a reference to nearby former factories and retailers. Amenity spaces are detailed with blackened steel accents, wood ceilings, and warehouse-style lighting, completing the design's modern industrial vision.
