-- Statement of Achievement, American Institute of Architects, College of Fellows, 2016
FXFOWLE is thrilled to announce that Principal Ann Rolland has been elevated to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Ann joined FXFOWLE in 1997 and has been instrumental in the development of the firm's Cultural/Educational practice. Describing her approach to architecture as "creative logic", Ann's strength lies in her ability to blend astute analytical and organizational skills with creativity and spirit.
The AIA's Fellowship program was developed to elevate those architects who have made a significant contribution to architecture and society and who have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession. Election to fellowship recognizes the achievements of architects as individuals, and their significant contribution to architecture and society on a national level.
The Jury of Fellows for the American Institute of Architects elevated 149 AIA members to its prestigious College of Fellows. The 2016 Fellows will be honored at an investiture ceremony at the National AIA Convention in Philadelphia, PA, this May. Out of a total membership of over 88,000, there are less than 4,000 AIA members distinguished with this honor.
