We are excited to announce that construction has begun on Purves Street Residential Development, a luxury rental apartment building located in Long Island City, New York. The 265,705-square-foot building accommodates 270 units, and boasts amenities that include a communal living room; an outdoor movie screening area; a roof deck with pool; a private party room; and a sky lounge. The design is inspired by the neighborhood's original industrial heritage and its new position as a fresh and modern NYC-locale. The result is an interplay between cool steel; the warmth of wood; glassy finishes; and leather details. The project is scheduled for completion in 2016.
