#MarchWithNEW: FXWomen Supports Nontraditional Employment for Women
FXCollaborative is a proud supporter of Nontraditional Employment for Women (NEW) and has raised over $2,200 for the nonprofit organization as part of their recent #MarchWithNEW fundraising campaign.
Every year, NEW students, graduates, staff, and supporters look forward to gathering on Fifth Avenue to march together and celebrate the Labor Day parade. Due to COVID-19, members of FXWomen (FXCollaborative's women-focused employee resource group) instead held individual one-mile marches to #MarchWithNEW, celebrating Labor Day 2020 and raising funds to support New York City's tradeswomen while maintaining social distance.
NEW prepares, trains, and places women in careers in the skilled construction, utility, and maintenance trades, helping women achieve economic independence and a secure future for themselves and their families. A donation to NEW means supporting programs that transform the lives of New York City women.

Knowing that we are helping to bring more skilled tradeswomen into the field will only help raise the standards and quality of work on our projects.
